Safari Dubai – Video Production Project

Overview

This project was a video production campaign created for Safari Dubai, one of the leading desert adventure and tourism companies in the UAE.

The goal was to produce a high-impact promotional video that captures the essence of the Dubai desert experience — adventure, culture, and luxury — all in one cinematic story.

Concept & Direction

The creative direction focused on showcasing the thrill and beauty of the desert, blending adventure and elegance.

The video follows a journey that highlights:

• Dune bashing and 4x4 rides
• Camel and quad bike experiences
• Traditional Emirati hospitality
• Sunset views and desert dining under the stars

The mood and tone were designed to evoke excitement, wonder, and exclusivity — positioning Safari Dubai as a premium desert experience brand.

Production Details

• Location: Dubai Desert Conservation Area
• Duration: 2 filming days
• Crew: Director, DOP, drone operator, gimbal camera team, lighting & sound crew
• Equipment:
  • Cinema camera (RED Komodo / Sony FX6)
  • 4K drone for aerial shots
  • Gimbal and car-mounted stabilizers for dynamic scenes

Lighting, camera movement, and composition were all carefully planned to enhance the natural tones of the desert and the warmth of the sunset.

Editing & Post-Production

• Editing style: cinematic with fast cuts for adventure sequences and slow motion for emotional moments.
• Color grading: warm golden tones to emphasize desert beauty.
• Sound design: a mix of Arabic percussion with cinematic background music.
• Final outputs:
  • 1 main promotional video (1 min 30 sec)
  • 3 social media cut-downs (15–30 sec each)

Result

The final video successfully reflected the brand identity of Safari Dubai — adventurous, luxurious, and authentically Emirati.

It was used across the company’s website, social media platforms, and tourism campaigns, resulting in strong audience engagement and increased inquiries from visitors.
